BEVERLYWOOD BULLETIN – MARCH 28, 2022

DETERRING
UNWANTED SOLICITORS ON YOUR PROPERTY:
If you are interested
in preventing strangers from coming to your front door, attached is an
attractive “No Soliciting” sign, which is readily available on line for
approximately $40. The sign will help our Community prevent unwanted
people from going onto private property. Knocking on residents’ front
doors is a common way burglars determine which homes are vacant to burglarize. Having such signs authorize Post Alarm to ask
unwanted persons to leave your property
.

Note: Post Alarm officers cannot enter your
property unless you have signed a “
Beverlywood
Emergency Contact & Property Access” form. This can be found at postalarm.com/beverlywood, in the box labelled “Emergency
Contact Form” There is no charge for this service.

IMPORTANT TO FILE LAPD POLICE REPORTS
FOR EVERY CRIME IN BEVERLYWOOD:
No matter how minor a
crime, please file a police report:
https://www.lapdonline.org/file-a-police-report .
Crime statistics
reported to LAPD are the basis for allocating LAPD officers and resources to
Beverlywood.

THEFT FROM GARDENERS, POOL SERVICE
AND OTHER SERVICE PEOPLE:
There has been a
increase in burglaries from service people’s vehicles in Beverlywood. Please warn anyone working at your home to
keep things locked and to be careful.
Also if they are an unfortunate victim, please encourage them to file a
police report.

SOLICITOR’S CREDENTIALS:
When someone rings
your doorbell, please don’t open the door until they show valid credentials
from their source. If you do not know or
trust the person’s identification, simply tell them you do not open the house
to unidentified people.
