ANGELES WATERING SCHEDULES: Effective June 1st,
watering of lawns is restricted to the following:
Homes with even-numbered addresses (ending with 2, 4, 6, 8, 0) Water on Sunday
and Thursday.
Homes with odd-numbered addresses (ending with 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) Water on Monday
and Friday.
no longer than eight minutes per day.
This can be divided into multiple sessions in order not to overwater,
causing runoff to sidewalks and streets.
before 9AM and after 4PM.
with hand-held hoses is exempt, as long as an automatic cut-off nozzle is used
and is only done at the same hours as above.
Full details
can be found at Google ‘LADWP water restrictions 2022’.
In the L.A.
Times Thursday article about the new schedules, it was noted that a home in
Beverlywood had sprinklers running fully on its off-day. We certainly don’t want our Association to be
pointed out as non-compliant.
CONSTRUCTION
TIMES: There has been an increase in construction
work being done during times not in compliance with our rules. Those with such work being done need to
make it clear with construction crews that work is NOT to be done before
7am and after 6pm on weekdays, 9am and 5pm on Saturdays, and not at all on
Sunday or National Holidays. Violation
can be subject to fines.
