DRIVING GOLF BALLS: *IMPORTANT* We have received reports that on the west
side of Sawyer near Beverly Dr people are apparently hitting golf balls in
residential areas that have caused serious injury to a member. Such recreational activity is restricted to
places designed for such pleasure and not your backyard. Please contact our office if you have any information.

BEES ON BEVERLY DR/KIRKSIDE RD: A beehive was recently removed from the cavity
of a tree on the NW corner of Beverly Dr and Kirkside Rd, it will take 3-5 days
for the bees to completely disappear. Please be careful when walking on this

ELECTRONIC RECYCLING PROJECT (Reminder): As we mentioned previously, we have made
arrangements with Homeboy Electronic Recycling to collect unwanted items from
Beverlywood residents. This will take
place at Circle Park on Sunday, August 14, from 10am to 1pm.

LA CITY NOTICE: Street renewal notices has gone out
from the city of LA. Street work will take place on Beverly Drive from Duxbury
Ln to Cattaraugus Ave beginning Wednesday, August 10, 2022, through Friday,
August 12, 2022. Pay attention to signs for parking and accessibility. Call 311
for more information.


  • Odd-numbered addresses can water on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Even-numbered addresses can water on Thursdays and Sundays.
Using excessive water, on the other hand, could cost you with a fine. Runoff is a no-no. You also can't let water leaks go unrepaired.  Restaurants cant serve water to customers unless it's requested, and you can't wash down sidewalks or driveways.

It is difficult to see our lawns get brown, but by now everyone
has to be aware of the water shortages and cooperate with these rules.
