BOARD MEETING: The Board of Directors will be having an
Open Board Meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 7PM in order to

BURGLARY PROTECTION: Often burglars
gain access to homes through glass windows and doors that are easily
broken. Examining internet postings
under “safety glass” turns up a large number of products that make such areas
much harder to access. Material is
available ranging from applicable film that helps prevent breakage, all the way
to bulletproof materials.
Also available – pick-proof locks for entry doors.
The cost of these protective products
is cheaper than dealing with a break-in, and every burglary prevented lowers
our crime rate.
REPORT SUSPECTED CRIMES: At our last Board Meeting, Senior Lead
Officer Chris Baker was a guest. One of
the items he pointed out was for citizens to report suspected criminal
activities to the police department. The
LAPD has the professional training to investigate these reports and would
prefer to have a report that turns out to not be a danger than miss one that could
result in a tragedy.
