Community Alert: Tropical storm conditions are possible in the next 48 hours. A high-risk warning for excessive rainfall has been issued for areas across Southern California.

Here are a few important tips to prepare for this storm:

• Take down umbrellas and or other items that can easily be blown by high winds.

• Clean gutters or drainpipes to prevent flooding.
